What are some good snacks?

Yes you can!  If you use a scoop of whatever chocolate protein powder you like and about 2 ounces of room temp water, you shake it up to make a slurry.  Then use sugar free swiss miss and make it as usual, with about 12 ounces of water.  Then you pour the "slurry" into the hot swiss miss and voila...hot protein chocolate.  It's very good and the swiss miss masks any protein taste.

Oysters..yucky,LOL.  And you're right, those online choc. proteins are very $$$.  The recipe above is just as good IMO.

you can make protein hot coco with whatever choc protein powder you have on hand. mix the powder with a half cup of room temp water. using a whisk works best. I add a bit of extra unsweetened coco powder because i find most protein powders too sweet. then heat a half cup skim milk in microwave until hot. slowly whisk that into the water mixture. it should end up being warm but not so hot as to curdle the protein. if its not hot enough you can nuke it a little more and get it warmer just being careful not to over heat it and curdle. i like this method because you can keep it from being so yucky sweet with the unsweetened coco powder which adds flavor and only 5 or 10  calories. I actually keep a bag of my  costco choc protein powder with extra coco mixed in because i know i always want that in there. So you don't even have to buy the swiss miss if you don't want to. i also mix the powder into sf pudding. D

My favorite late night snack is cottage cheese because it's high in protein, low in calories, and sits well in my sleeve.

One of my "go to" snacks( or meal as it may be)  are HB eggs W/ hummus!  I know it sounds weird, but if you like hummus it is good!  Like 6-7 grams of prot per egg, total cals W/ hummus like 100, plus some fiber from the hummus.  It is very filling.  I don't usually crave sweet stuff.... so I'm not much help there.
