What are some good snacks?
I have the munchies at night. I fight it hard. I can go all day and not want to eat. I am not hungry and I am not thinking about food.
Then night time comes, and I still not hungry but the head hunger sets in. I eat sf jello or a sf fudgsicle, but that takes all of like 5 min and I am looking for something else to snack on.
So what are some good snacks that you've found that don't make the scale go up? I need some new ideas! Thanks!

i got pumpkin seeds (pepitas) at a discount grocery outlet of a brand called squirrel tree. they were smokey tasting and ready to eat and great. I have seen them in other places and for sure you can find them at a health food store if not a hispanic market or regular grocery store. key is getting good fresh ones. i have purchased them in bags at gas station convenience stores and found them to be rather stale. thats why a health food store might be a good option. sure fills the bill for a crunchy salty snack and a small amount is pretty filling. the only ones i have seen are without any shell and ready to eat. D
Ok, I'll probably gross everybody out with my weird foods, but you asked, lol! I'm a night time snacker, too. What I CRAVE are M&Ms (which my skinny husband eats by the handful) or other sweets, but what I eat (most of the time) are:
celery dipped in light ranch dressing
pumpkin seeds
kim chee
other pickled veg, like string beans or asparagus
regular dill pickles dipped in ranch dressing
smoked oysters (which my hubby says give me "kitty breath" but I like 'em and they're pure protein)
sometimes I'll do a little cheese and meat if I'm really hungry, not just peckish
