8th Month Follow-up and Maint Plan
Hi Mikey,
Congrats on your successful appointment(s)!!
I hate shakes, or the 'one' that is available here. I am surprised, now that you are allowed to increase your calories, she suggests shakes!!! WTH, eat man eat! Enjoy some healthy carbs, that you have been avoiding!! Just my not so humble opinion.
As for the streching and the re-gain, forget it, I think, unless I am nieve, that re-gain will be up to you!! I personally don't plan on that happening, I will do everything in my power, to prove her and others like her wrong!
AND one of my best defences is coming right here!!
Thanks Mikey, big pats on the back to you.
And lots of warm friendly hugs,

I did discuss that with Dr. Nish. he said to eat healthy foods. He said "I don't want to hear you did it by drinking Milk Shakes". BTW.. Dr. Nish did say that there was clinical evidence in a less than 1% instance of the sleeve stretching. He said it was due to people trying to push the limits of thier capacity. Sounds stupid to me that people would try to do that. But I think those people weren't ready for the change in lifstyle.

Thanks for this info on the low incidence of sleeve stretching. always like to hear scientific stuff rather than rumors and so forth though personal experiences are aways useful. seems stupid to me too that people would try to push their limits. Dr. Cirangle had some funny stories on how people with bands figured out how to eat bread by wetting it and eating it and jumping up and down! I mean, who needs some bread that bad! And the time or two I have overstuffed my sleeve it was bordering on painful and I am not going to do that again. no reason for it.
BTW, my new favorite lunch is a half piece of low carb flat bread (45 cal, 3 carbs and 4g protein) with a modest slather of almond butter on it. tastes great - like a more adult pbj only without the jelly. guess i could add some sugar free jelly to it. D
