True Confessions.....
So, tonight I go home and broil some ribeye steaks for dinner. I ate 1/2 of one, approx 4 oz. It was delicious! So, about 1/2 hour after I eat the steak I start getting the crunchies and eat 2 bowls of spec k high protein cereal and milk. The first bowl tasted so go I had another....OMG! I felt sick and had to throw up "some" of the stuff that started to come up on it's own. Sorry to gross anyone out, but I'm sure my maintenace peeps get what I'm saying. Sometimes my head still thinks I can eat more that my tum can handle. Now, I tired and will be going to bed soon.
Forgot to try the night time prilosec.

gee, bet that was no fun. only did that one time when i first started soft foods and learned my lesson. Sometimes i find myself eating someting and really thinking gee this is good I hope i can finish eating this before my sleeve makes me stop. But I am sure glad to have that stop mechanism. sure couldn't do it without it. nite nite. D
So...I have to ask...As I'm very curious. For those of you that don't throw up. What happens when you eat too much?
I have never slimed or frosted. Very grateful for that.
But the Fear of Puking is what keeps me in line.
What keeps you inline?

I have thrown up twice when I drank a margarita right after eating chicken wings.
However, I have overeaten and had that sleeve PAINNNNNN and not been able to throw up. During those times I can't even swallow my own saliva so I have to spit in the sink or toilet, sometimes for up to an hour. I have tried making myself throw up to no avail. My body simply REFUSES to vomit unless it makes the choice to. lol I've even stuck the end of a toothbrush down my throat as far as it would go and wiggled it and all I could do was dry heave. I swear I don't know how bulimics can make themselves puke.
Anyway, I just have to ride out the pain. It sucks so bad!

yep i get the pain mandy is talking about, sometimes it also feels like food is right up into the bottom of my throat but even if i feel sick i can not be sick, what generally happens is the pain makes me lie down, and i then usually get really tired and end up sleepy so i go to sleep.

Hi Mikey!
I haven't actually "thrown up", it just starts to "come up and and I spit it out". Slim, Frost and Foam is not fun. It generally happens when I drink liquids with a meal. I have a hard time "not drinking" with meals. So, most of the time I "sip, every so lightly a few times during a meal.
What keeps me in line? Being Honest!
