I'm so friggin hungry all the time lately???
yes it is something that didnt seem to hit til after a year out i dont know why but up to that point i never had the same issues, but just after a year i noticed it.
I think maybe our stomachs are completely healed nerves everything by that point, and really start working how they will continue to do so for ever.
I have seen other vets like maureen, also bring it up, so i think its just another stage in our journey.

I know BEFORE surgery my brain did most of the eating so now I dont' know if it's actual physical hunger with me or my fat brain waking back up and wanting to eat more...whatever it is I just wi**** would STOP!!
THESE days I want to eat at night which is usually when I'm bored WHICH is what I USED to do PREOP which again makes me think it's my fat brain MORE then my body. I also want CARBS, nothing "good for me" so I'm making sure to eat protein because I KNOW dense protein will FILL me up!! Last night I wanted "something" so I made scrambled eggs and cheese. Last week since I had made meatballs just because I would eat 2-3 of those and be fine.

Head Hunger.....I don't understand that at all. Just kidding!!! Protein first rule. Lunch today was a lightly breaded baked chicken breast with some mixed veggies/rice and a small serving of refried beans. That was at 12:30pm. Now, it's 2pm and I'm having some sugar snap peas and crazing a nice copy of hot tea w/soy milk and stevia. WTH?

For me? If I were sleuthing out the reason for my hunger so soon, I would find it right there in orange and white!
All of those things ALONE go through me quick but all of those things in addition to the meat - just escort it down faster too.
I might just be a freak but meat in addition to anything just does not stay as long. It never has. I just assume it never will.

And to say this.. I dont actually think there is a problem (and i know you werent looking for approval!) with those foodies, espy if they dont cause binginess, but when i *do* eat the foodies that shoosht thru, I just KNOW that I will be hungry sooner than before!!
And boy oh boy how I know about mutha hubbad's cubbad!!

Oh yeah I have lunch EVERYDAY at 1 and it's usually a nice and filling lunch by 2:30-3:00 I'm LOOKING for something to eat. NOW again in comparing this to preop this was my begin to graze time and at night was MY time too.
I think it's more my head then my body so lately I've been making me a crystal light drink to drink after lunch just BECAUSE I "know" I'm going to be hungry within an hour or two of eating. Going to try to hold out till 4pm before I eat my snack of mock rice pudding.
It's a never ending struggle isn't it =(
