This will be the first year since I can't remember when........

That I will not have a weight related New Years Resolution !!!!!

No more weight related broken promises to myself !!!!!

Edit: After re-reading my post I should add.......I don't have to make a resolution..... because I am actively controlling my weight.
Didn't mean it to read like "I'm done"

Amen my brother!  Especially about the broken promises. They are soul killers and we do not even fathom how very much.

well i probably will make one, that is weight related but it wont be to lose weight, it will be to keep my head in the game..

I guess one fear of mine is losing focus and things slipping.

hey yet another liberating thing about vsg. no more of the new years resolution cycle of resolve, failure, guilt and pig out. but i guess i should do one about building some muscle mass. but boy thats a lot easier to think about and do something about than  "Oh, i think i will lose 100 lbs this year. "  did it already!     maybe we all just resolve to stay in touch on the forum or this board and keep it going. very doable. D

well you are right about that Jimbo. Those two definitly have done well in the weight lifting department. Truth is I am a wimp and scared of serious body building. guess i will continue going to Curves which is for wimps. Lets see, Curves rhymes with ..... well nothing. D

VSG on 05/04/09 with
NERBS!!  As in "you are dancing on my last nerbs, child!" which means.. spankin time is nigh!!

Curves is only for wimps if you only go through the motions and slowly move the machines.  You gotta whump those machines!  Whump em lillamama!!!

So many of the ladies, when I went would fuss fuss fuss they were not losing weight, and they were eating stuff that was sticking with them (you know..not to their ribs, but their bottoms).

You just CAN NOT OUT TRAIN A FUNKAY DIET!! Unless you are like Mary or Mac and do way long distance endurance stuff!  For the rest of us?  90% of our fitness is made in the kitchen!!

You already have your food part figured out, so you just need to WHUMP DEM MACHEEENS!!
