I will not see Dr. A unless I go to the Houston OH event!  I have my list of yearly labs, I use the board resources for lab values, as the group is much more educated on what should be than the normie doctors are.

As for a nutritionist, I am mine own, but honestly I imagine the way I eat (higher fat, moderate protein, lower carb) might rub some Food Pyramid Nutritionists wrong, but that's okay.  I will keep my copay!

As for Dr. A though, I can email or call at any point and always get a touch back within hours.

I haven't spoken with my doctor or nutritionist since my 1 month post-op visit.

I had a bit of a complication during my surgery so my Surgeon has scheduled me a bit more often than most of his patients. On average I've seen him once every other month. the typical patient is 1, 3, 6, moths then annual after that.

I always do blood work before I go into see him. I've been having problems with my iron levels and last check my B-1 was below normal. I have an appointment next thursday (5th appointment with him since surgery). It will be my first appointment since hitting goal. I'm curious as to what his going to say. Wonder if he's going to tell me to keep loosing.

There's two nuts in his office. I usually meet with them when I have an office visit. I have consulted them about my diet a couple of times. I track on myfitness pal so I just fax a print out into the office and talk to them on the phone.

Our baratric coordinator runs the monthly support groups. So I also talk to her, as she is a PA as well.

I wish I could see my surgeon. I absolutely love Dr. Aceves but Mexicali is just not in the cards for
any up coming trips.

I do go to  my support group that I started going to when I had band surgery. They don't care where you had surgery. It's a great support group.

My PCP does my labs.

Thank God for OH and all the great support and knowledge here!

I didn't really care for my nut, and haven't seen her since my first week post op. My surgeon I saw a lot the first year- like 7 times, and now once every 6 months.

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

I see Dr. C a TON. First, he runs the support groups so I see him almost every month there. Then, the first year I saw him about 6 times. 3 weeks, 7 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months? Something like that. The second year I saw him 3-4 times and at my 2 year check-up he suggested I see him in 6 months. So I'll see him 2 times in my 3rd year. I would imagine it will go to yearly after that.
