For me, depends on what I had for the meal before and if the day before I was a hard core lifter. I tend to be hungier the day after a big lift. Typically 2 to 3 hours is my hunger popup zone. If I eat 2 or 3 ounces of dense meat, a T of salsa and slice o chee (my main staple) then its 3ish hours. Unless work is ****ty and I am working hard and making no cashdolla and all the moneymaking accounts are empty, then I find I *want* to eat more often, but that's not hungry, that's a distraction faction!
If I have a salad, or a sandwich, or veggies AND my meat, then its closer to 2 hours - and I tend to eat those things as a last meal in the evening if I eat them, then if I have the hungries closer to bed, I just have a cup of warm almondy milk with some flavor in it, just as a something in my tum.

I start to get hungry after about 3 hours if I eat a dense protein meal. If I just eat a snack, or less dense meal, it is around 2 hours. But I can usually hold off until every 4 hours or so before I eat again.
The key for me is to eat dense protein first every time I eat, but sometimes I just don't want to!

For the most part I can go 3-4-5 hours if I'm active and have no time for food and my mind is occupied with work or something.
But sometimes i get a hungry feeling only after an hour after eating........ Than I ask myself "is this really hunger" In almost every case I can still physically feel food just past my sleeve..... so I know it's not "Physical Hunger" and tell myself it's head hunger. I also think if the day before i had any increased amounts of carbs..... and yes.... more times than not..... I had carbs the day before.
The best way for me to deal with pre-mature hunger is to walk.....(kinda like taking a cold shower) hey... maybe a cold shower would work to curb hunger?
That's my un-scientific study on hunger !

ya know, this really really varies. often its 3 or 4 hours but sometimes sooner. if i feel hungry, i eat, provided its real hunger. these days its less a feeling in the belly than the jittery edgy feeling that is probably associated with lower blood sugar. thank god for no more of that bottomless pit - i could eat a horse - feeling. food is appealing, quantities are not. so it i feel hungry between meals the snack may be almonds or a bite of cheese. and like Frisco says, i notice it less when i am occupied with some project or work of an interesting nature. even including viewing and writing on these forums is of more interest than snacking. thats my take. I probably get hungry every 2-3 hours or so... I never eat meals until I am full, I know what it takes to satisfy myself and that is all I allow myself. (Unless I am eating out, then I indulge until I am almost full, but not stuffed...)
I eat 3 meals a day and 3 or more snacks, so normally I don't get too hungry in between.
My snacks and treats are as follows, and I eat these in controlled amounts:
- Almonds
- PB
- Rainsins
- Cheese
- M&M Peaunts once a day on my walk
I also drink water like a fish in between all that eating, I am sooooooo thirsty all the time now. I LOVE my water, even in the middle of the night. I often have a small snack when I get up in the middle of the night as well.

I get hungry every 1-2 hours, which is really my main problem post-sleeve. The dense protein can keep me full for 3 hours but only if I eat ZERO carbs during the day. Even fruit and veggies cause problems.
I hate getting hungry so often, and it makes it a lot harder to stay on plan, because dense protein is a hard thing to keep in your bag for a snack.
