Thanks Diane,

There is obviously a need.  I will pop in daily!

Diane,

Thanks for letting those of us who aren't at goal yet come and learn from the pros.  I may not be there yet, but I certainly will be and want a birdseye view into what works and what pitfalls to try to steer clear of.  I really need/want the wisdom of those who are charting the way to successful VSG maintenance.

This is a great idea.

I'm staying in "diet mode" (hate that term, but not sure what else to call it?!?!?!) through the holidays and then going to maintenance January 1.

This is the 2nd scariest part of the journey so far (having the actually surgery still is #1) ... I've lost before (never this much though) and never have been able to maintain.  I feel very positive about my success this time, but not really sure what to do & how to go about it.  I look forward to your ideas and tips.

Did most people start out just adding a couple hundred calories a day or did you try something else?  If it was upping calories, how much and what type of calories did you add?

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...

I betcha if we start a new thread on this, you might get some more hits.  I will copy your post and start it!

Yes, I think we have a hit here!! Another home for us to support one another. I love my sleeve for many reasons but one of them is definitely because of all the great people called VSGer's.

Wow folks, just a few days and we have 37 members in this group.Shows there is interest in the topic. I posted the creation on the main board as being open to all. So it looks like we are already getting some useful dialog going. So don't hold back! all thoughts and comments are worthy. And someone message Old Medic or anyone else that has been AWOL lately to see if they want to participate. D

This is going to be my new favorite board.

The VSG board is great. I am happy for all the new people who "have their date"

I really need to stay in contact with people who are past the newbie stage though, because it's really easy to slip back into bad habits. Go Away all mini candy bars!
