Awesome job!

You and I are somewhat in the same boat though you are a bit ahead.  I find that I am not losing as much as some, but still steady enough to keep me happy :)

 First month I lost 22lbs.

I'm in week 7 and currently at 8lbs lost.  I need to lose 3.3 lbs this week to get below 200, so that's my goal which would put me at 12.3 lbs lost for the month.  Overall I'm very happy.  I'm a "lightweight" so I know I won't lose as fast as some, but I'm sure I'm doing right by my protein and working out, so I'm not going to fret it.  I'd like to be to a normal BMI (149) by the end of Sep. and I should definitely be able to do that if I maintain or beat the 12  lbs a month.

I do a fair bit.  I walk/run at least 3 miles 3x a week (have my first 5k this weekend), I do the elliptical when I can't run.  I started back up with kettleballs this past week (2x) and I'm going to start crossfit 2x a week next week.  So minimum I work out 5 days a week but the other days I'm not doing nothing, I am just out walking with the kids in DC, going to the park etc. . . Oh and I'm also starting back horse back riding in 2 weeks (that's my present to myself for hitting the 100's which should happen next week).

 WTG and Thanks!

I've noticed a HUGE weight loss the last two days right before my 2 month Surgiversary.  I don't really know what I did differently, but I'm taking it!

Topic: How is your weight loss going?
I will admit that I've been a little frustrated over the past two months when I didn't really see the scale moving as I had hoped.  I started out my day of surgery weighing 256 and I guess that I got a little carried away that I would see more come off initially than I have.  I guess if I have to pick, slowly, but surely is great.  I've had my period twice since the surgery and have had some ups and downs with getting in my protein and liquids, so I really have nothing to complain about.  There have been mini stalls, but whenever I ramp up the exercise or reexamine my protein and liquids, that seems to ease me out of it.

1st Month Loss = 20 lbs
2nd Month Loss = 12 lbs

I really hope to keep up with an 8-10 lbs loss per month as I am aiming to be close to my goal weight by my 40th birthday 1/1/2013.

I am training for a half marathon and am working out 3-4 times per week.  I know I need to ramp it up, but things have been nutty.  I walk/run 3x per week and now I need to add some strength training.

I have a crappy knee so I'm trying to work out enough so it doesn't start giving me issues.

Topic: Exercise...... how much are you doing?
I was wondering how much exercise everyone is doing? What type of things are you doing?

I am mainly walking still. However I am going to go to my first Zumba class this Wednesday. I have my next follow- up appt. with surgeon's office on 5/8/12 & will be seeing the exercise physiologist. She will be doing some testing & then giving me suggestions for exercise & how often type stuff.

Topic: RE: When is/was your surgery??
My sleeve was done on April 18th...I am doing okay, but think I feel hunger alot?  I use the Premier Protein Shakes @30 grams protein each.  I see my surgeon on the 27th, so will hope for a little more info then.  Does anyone else feel very tired?
