Welcome!

The SFBABS Support Group is dedicated to the success of bariatric surgery patients - pre and post op - however each person defines that success.

In the words of author Alan Deutschman in his book "Change or Die", successful change requires that people:

· Relate – have a relationship with a team of experts.
· Repeat – meet often with others with the same problems, and with other professionals who have the right training and beliefs to help them learn, practice, and master the new habits and skills they'll need.
· Reframe - learn new ways of thinking about their own lives and skills of handling this problem through the meetings and relationships above.

The SFBABS Support Group will provide a non-judgmental, fun and supportive space to engender the "Repeat" and "Reframe" part of the equation.
