Topic: Visted Mother
Reflections again today my mother is 85 young drove to visit her about 175 one way. Had a good visit with her and she still fiesty told me that she is still proud of me for weight loss journey. Then she said I better head back home and I said later I told her I wasn't going to drive all that way just to turn around and come home. When I left she was getting tired so gave her a hug and she took a nap. And on my way back home I reflected on our past.

Topic: Reflections of an Uncle

Reflections of my favorite Uncle. Yes he has entered the holy kingdom and I'm on my way to the services. He had been a big supporter of my journey filled with positive things saying I look good and keep up the good work. Reflections can be so many thing and all  not about weight loss. So take a few minutes and Reflect on something good. jimmy

Topic: RE: Christmas Song
Jimmy:
Again, sorry I'm so late in responding.
Well, I think Santa can (and should) sing out loud, no matter what his voice sounds like.  It's funny that you said you can't hold a note in a bucket.  My grandmother used to say that she couldn't hold a tune in a bucket.
I occassionally hum quietly to myself if it would be rude to be too loud.  But with Christmas songs, I belt them out loud (despite knowing that I am flat - Alex says I sing a quarter of an octave to low, so I tell everyone that I'm a quart low).
My favorite song is "Do you Hear what I Hear?"  I do like "What Child is This?" too.  My mom played a stack of Christian records throughout the day, every day when I was a child.  I loved Christmas time, and still prefer the "old" versions of the songs with the singers I grew up listening to.
