Weekend Running Plans?
Hey all, I'm at my half way point on my couch to 5K training program. Tomorrow, Sunday, I up my mileage to run 2.5 miles. Today, Saturday, I'm taking a rest day because my legs ache. I want to be fresh for tomorrow's run.
I've been training on the c25k and also doing elliptical and recumbent bike on off days with weight training. I'm pooped. So I've decided to take one rest day per week to help my recovery. I'm 51, and don't bounce back like I used to.
