Congrats on being asked.  That's wonderful!

Please do let them know about the team!  It's obviously not for everyone, but it's just another thing none of us ever thought we'd do!!

For some reason, today I accepted an invite to speak to my doctor's support group about my journey so far, in particular, my move towards training for endurance events, as in the full marathon in the fall.    I was thinking of using the team as part of the story and speech.

If you told Dan that you were interested in joining the team and still haven't sent him the money for your T-shirt or to help offset the web site, please just drop him a note and let him know your intentions.  He did pay for all of this out of his pocket so that we could get started.  Even if you are not in a position to buy a shirt right now, please just let him know the status.

The tech t-shirts looked great, and we were sporting them as a team this last sunday.  Hopefully Dan can get the pictures posted.

Just wanted to say I got a preview of the work Dan has been doing on the new web site.
What he has done looks pretty good, and it is very promising.

Thanks

Scott

I hope it's better weather for you this year!!!!
It was NOT fun to be running the half in sleet/snow.  The full was drier but just as cold!!!  Not the escape from Michigan cold that I was hoping for.
Enjoy the experience, it's a nice course but don't underestimate the overpasses.  There's 2 at the end of the 1/2 -- they're not big hills but enough to be annoying

Ok, i signed up for the 2011 Goofy Challenge in early January next year.  Anybody interested in running it with me?  My father is joining me for the marathon piece, but sitting out the half.

Way to go.  I think you have inspired me to do a half Ironman.  I am glad that you did not get hurt.
Again Great Job on finishing the race with all the different hurdles you had to jump.
