I am New!

I just want to introduce myself.  I just joined this group.  I am training for a 5K on July 10th, have really started working out to run the full distance.  This all new to me, and I would like to learn how to excerise and eat healthy over the next couple of months, and keep it going the rest of my life.
I had RNY on January 20, 2010, and have lost 74lbs so far.  I am getting stuck, and knew that I need to get my butt off the couch, and get moving!!  I started walking about a month ago. Then I got a gym membership on Saturday.  I know I am beginer but that is why I joined this forum to learn, and improve.  My long term goal is to do a tri-athalon by next summer.
Any advise would be great, and I thank you for all you help! :)
