Post surgery alcoholism
About
Welcome to my quest to bring together those post-surgery patients who have suddenly found that they have developed a serious drinking problem. Prior to bariatric surgery I had a severe intolerance to alcohol, but developed the ability, as I call it, to drink without repercussions" Having walked a way from a DUI, spent thousands of dollars on outpatient treatment, nearly lost my marriage, endured 31 days in rehab, and quit my job because I was stressed out and suicidal over my uncontrollable drinking, I am back under a very good psychiatrists care. It appears that roux en y often triggers alcoholism. I learned that from the third leading specialist on food addiction in the country. Here is the scary downside: Antabuse is not working well for me. The only ill effect I am experiencing is flushing. I'd like to know if anyone else is going through this?General Information
