Pre-admitting appointment

Hi All,

Had my pre-admitting appointment yesterday at the civic..................3 long hours! I know it was totally necessary but just so much waiting. ECG, more blood work, blood pressure, height and weight and a meeting with nurse and anesthetist. Also registered with admitting- found out the rooms are co-ed...should be interesting! 6 more sleeps!

Wow that is very exciting! So happy for you. I'll keep that in mind when my turn comes; bring a book or something to keep me busy. Keep us posted on your progress.

I saw the surgeon a week ago and I'm still waiting for "the phone call". Not sure if that's normal or not.

Hi! So I called Lana the surgical coordinator two days after my appt and got a date. Call her tomorrow she is super nice and returns calls quickly 798-5555 ext 13946

Thank you for the information. I called Lana this morning and my surgery is booked for June 10th which is exactly what I wanted.

I'm sorry to hear about your complications. I'm sure once they figure everything out and fix the problem that your life will return back to "normal".

hi Roxanne,

you say your surgery is booked for June 10 - exactly what you wanted. could you have gotten an earlier date?

I had my info session on Jan 4, blood work on Mar 27, I see Yarrow (Behaviorists) on Apr 8...I sure hope things move along quickly.

I could have had my surgery earlier but because of work priorities, I wanted to book it in June when I knew things would be quiet. I was lucky to have been able to choose my date, very happy about that.

Have you received a surgery date yet? I start my Optifast on May 20th! Yikes!
