Suppot group gatherings?

I am new to this journey and have my surgery date for my RNY surgery (June 25, 2012).  I am really excited and I am trying to find a local (Ottawa) support groups I can attend (in person) to help me support wise and talk to people going through the same thing.  If anyone knows of any could you let me know that would be great :)

7:30pm to 9pm at Bronson Centre.
 first monday of the month so june 5th
there is a coffee meet an the end of the month also they just had it tuesday i think
January 14 2011- Orientation at WMC

First Tuesday of the month. For anybody who is pre-op or post-op.

Location is Bronson Centre at 211 Bronson Avenue unless otherwise noted.

 

January 3rd 7:30 p.m.

February 7th 7:30 p.m.

April 3rd 7:30 p.m.

May 1st 7:30 p.m.

June 5th 7:30 p.m.

August 7th, 7:30 p.m.

I run  The O.W.L.S. (Ottawa Weight Loss Surgery) Closet. We are a local clothing exchange and social group stemmed off of a couple of the local support boards on Facebook and also OH members for those having had or going to have WLS. We meet monthly for a large clothing exchange and potluck in the East end of Ottawa.
