Hi, are you getting in all your protein . You should get like 40 grams a day. Oh and watch what you are drinking. I found that u can drink your calories, that causes problems too
Hello! I have been recovering and not so much online. I'm down 27 lbs since surgery. I'm on a puréed dirt and I puréed everything :) I try to cook really healthy and lean for the family so that I can eat with them at dinner. I'm still having pain on the right side, it's uncomfortable , some days it's ok and other days it comes at me with a vengeance ! I pray everyone else is doing ok, I'm finally getting to the clothes are falling off stage!!!!
I had surgery at 9:30am on a Monday and was released by 10:00am the following day!
thank you, yes I am feeling a little better. I think cutting out the high sodium soups and walking more is helping me. it is so confusing how is eating 700 calories I can go a week without losing any weight. The scale is finally started moving again, hooray. I get to start soft foods tomorrow, I can't wait to eat fish :-). How are you doing?

Happy for you! I hope for me and still have pain and the scale hasn't moved in a week. Pretty discouraging but I am working more on walking.
I am not walking on a regular basis yet. I am back to work and I am at a computer for ten hrs a day. I walk during breaks though. I am drinking shakes, eating a few pureed foods. nothing too much yet
Things are going pretty good! How are you? I go back to work next week so I'm really working on some good habits.
Me too. I think it is the high sodium in the soups etc. Discouraging, I know...
