I too spent one night in the hospital. I had my surgery about 11am and was discharged about 5pm the next day.

How are things now that you are out of the hospital?

Things are going well. My surgery was on 10/6, doing very good.  Lost 11 pounds in a week. I'm getting full before I can eat the 4 oz of cottage cheese and 4 oz of Greek yogurt. My liquid intake is getting better, I think it's still hard to drink that much, but getting most of it in.  My one incision is very sore, and of course I usually sleep on that side too.  I've been covering just that one with bigger padded bandaids at night.  All in all, doing good. I walk daily, but that still wears me out. Get tired a lot easier.  I know that'll change once I'm back to work and get a daily routine again.

How is your post surgery??

I walk at least a mile every day. Today I forgot to eat dinner because I was so very tired from walking. I really need energy. That is so frustrating.

I agree our energy levels are way low. Hopefully, with the phase of slowly introducing more, and getting a schedule, we will get our energy back! frustrating yes, but I'm glad we have this group to talk about it.
