Hi

No sorry I'm not the one with the PICC line!! I'm glad your doing great!!
I had the stall also for about a week 1/2 & changed up my routine & added increased my protein. So far I'm on the treadmill & that works for me, for now. We recently joined our rec center, only 14 dollars for us, so thats awesome. Try to look into something like that!! Or even go to the mall & walk around!!  I only weigh myself once a week, every Tuesday. Used to be every day, but learned thats dangerous LOL

I have tried beef, chicken & turkey, today I'm trying pork. No seafood yet & I sooo want to try seafood!! I'll be 8 wks. on Tuesday!! Excited about his whole process. Girl follow your NUT, I hate when something doesn't agree with me!! Keep in touch!!

Good luck to you!!! I'm here if you need to chit' chat'

You had to get the PICC line, am I remembering that right? I'm glad you are doing so well.

I'm doing great. Hoping this stall (I've GOT to stop looking at the scale) breaks. Working out 3-5 times a week. I love to walk, but it's been cold and snowy here and I don't love to walk in the snow - lol.

Dense meats don't love me. For some reason they sometimes make me nausceous. I talked to the NUT about it at the 6-week appt. She said to give it a week or two and try them again. I'm okay with chicken and turkey so far. I tried crab. Big mistake. NUT said to stay away from stea****il 2 months out and I think that soundslike a good idea.

I don't weigh til Monday Morning (sometimes Sunday morning), but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. Definitely not easy to stay on the diet during all of that.

I'm in a stall and not feeling like I lost anything, but we'll see.

Hi Raquel

We were sleeved on the same day & I was cleared to start solids at week 7. This past week. So far I'm doing good. I am trying a bite at a time just to see if my stomach agrees with my food & so far so good. I do feel more the dense protein sits heavier. I can do 1-1 1/2 oz. depending on what it is!!

Good luck to you!!

Topic: How is everyone?
Hi Oct Sexy Sleevers!!

It's been a while since I've posted in this group!! How is everyone doing?
Me, I feel great -58lbs. total. -33lbs. since surgery!! Now I'm good to move on to regular bariatric diet!! Been doing good on that & concentrating on getting in all my protein with food. I still take at least one protein drink a day, some days two especially when I work out. I try to work out 5-6x/week & started strength training also!! I hope everyone is doing well!!

Good luck to all of us & continued weight loss!!

I know I'm posting this a couple of days early, but I had a death in the family and may not be able to post on Sunday.  So, I'm posting now so that we can all praise each other and give each other support.

Still sadly sitting in my stall, but not letting that keep me down.  I'm 7 weeks out and the compliments keep coming.  BTW my NUT doesn't want me force feeding to get protein in.  She told me to stick to the 3 meals a day, no snacks and the protein intake will increase with time.  Stay strong and work your sleeves surgery sisters & brothers!

You are doing great!!  I post a weekly weigh in for everyone to post their numbers.  It helps us to see how everyone else is doing and get the support we need.  I am 6 weeks out and right about where you are.  I tell myself this is a lifestyle change and not a race.  If I wanted it to happen super fast I would have had RNY, but I chose the healthier version and as long as that scale is moving (or at least the tape measure) then I'm happy.  Keep your chin up and keep working that sleeve!
