Thanks for the feedback.  Today I got in about 50oz of water.  Protein is surprising, 70 grams without counting shakes.  Ok I see I have to mix it up a bit.

IMO, 1-2 lbs is pretty good.

There've been a few of us who've gone through this recdently. Until last week, I was losing 1 agonizing pound a week.

This is what I did and it's got me back up to a 2 lb a week weight loss - not great, but better.

Protein over 70 - without shakes
Carbs under 30
Water 10 glasses (80 oz) a day
Did my entire workout backwards - something I read online that stops the "body memory" thing.

Just looking at your food and water intake, I'd say you aren't getting near enough of either one.  8 glasses of water/day is the minimum required and it's based on a sedentary lifestyle. If you are exercising the typical guideline is to add 1 glass of water for every 30 minutes of strenuous work which would put you at 11 glasses of water a day.

I hope this helps. Good luck

I am frustrated because my weight loss is slow.  My 1st 2 weeks post op I lost 20 lbs.  I seem to be losing about a 1-2 lbs a week if that.  It seems like I lost maybe an ounce since last week.  The week before I was stalled.  I am working out at the gym about 4-5 times a week doing the treadmill for about 60 minutes and circuit training for 30 minutes.  I'm drinking about 32 oz of water daily and protein is up to 45-50 grams,  I've done well with keeping carbs low.  Any suggestions?  I was sleeved on 10/17

I usually weigh on Monday's, but today is my 2 month surgerversary so, I'll go today.

SD 10/18/11
HW 222
SW 215
CW 192
POL 23
TL 30
IL Still 11 inches since November 1st. I only measure once a month.

Lost 2 lbs this week which was wonderful because I was getting tired of the 1 lb a week crap. I guess the changes I made worked. WOOHOO! I wanted to be 190 by my surgerversary, but I moved it out to Christmas last week because my WL slowed up so much.

Best wishes to everyone else!

Topic: A cool new online tracker
I started online tracking today. I am trying out myfitnesspal.com. Its AWESOME because I KNOW I am not getting in enough protein and it keeps track of that AND all your exercize and the amount of calories you need to lose weight. Thought I would share. If you want you can add me as a friend under Virginia Thiessen

I have been eating almonds and peanuts without any issues, However my morning breakfasts of banana with peanut butter makes me feel really full, and I eat half of a banana its weird! I also got approval to go off the bariatric vitamins and take regular vitamins with a vitamin b vitamin on the side. I am SO excited!

I did not start tracking inches and now I am sorry I didn't. I went from a size 48 DDD bra to a 42 DD So I am guessing 6 inches arounf the chest. I went from a size 30 pants (I believe 51 inches at the waist and 60 at the hips) to a size 22 pants (41 inches at the waist and 51 at the hips normally)

SO that would mean at least by my clothing I am down
6 inches in the chest
10 inches at the waist
9 inches in the hips

Plus I KNOW I have lost something in the arms

so... 25 inches? WOW

I have been in a stall weight wise too but the inches are what keeps me going!

I am good, I am still on the protiens yet, still havent tried veggies, I am going to give it a few more weeks, I am having a hard time getting in 60 grams of protien a day and tired of my nectar. Weird I know or is every one else like that. I do have my good and bad days.

Ohh, I tried peanuts, OHHH,kinda a bad mistake, I had tons of gas, discomfort from it. I do work out, I have such a big goal this summer.
