OCT 2011 Sexy Sleevers!!
I'm a little frustratec
I am frustrated because my weight loss is slow. My 1st 2 weeks post op I lost 20 lbs. I seem to be losing about a 1-2 lbs a week if that. It seems like I lost maybe an ounce since last week. The week before I was stalled. I am working out at the gym about 4-5 times a week doing the treadmill for about 60 minutes and circuit training for 30 minutes. I'm drinking about 32 oz of water daily and protein is up to 45-50 grams, I've done well with keeping carbs low. Any suggestions? I was sleeved on 10/17
IMO, 1-2 lbs is pretty good.
There've been a few of us who've gone through this recdently. Until last week, I was losing 1 agonizing pound a week.
This is what I did and it's got me back up to a 2 lb a week weight loss - not great, but better.
Protein over 70 - without shakes
Carbs under 30
Water 10 glasses (80 oz) a day
Did my entire workout backwards - something I read online that stops the "body memory" thing.
Just looking at your food and water intake, I'd say you aren't getting near enough of either one. 8 glasses of water/day is the minimum required and it's based on a sedentary lifestyle. If you are exercising the typical guideline is to add 1 glass of water for every 30 minutes of strenuous work which would put you at 11 glasses of water a day.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Shakes are absolutely fine to get more protein, I just hate drinking them. I started looking for ways to get in more protein. I now eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day all very high protein and low carb. I keep my calories under 800.
For the water/fluid (any sugar free, clear, caffeine free fluid counts as water for me. My favorite is caffeine free mint tea - hot or cold.) I bough****er bottles at the local sports shop that are over 32 oz. So I know if I drink 2 of them a day, I've gotten in at least the 64 oz to meet my minimums. I always get more than 8 glasses.
Yep, pretty much you need to switch things up.
