OCT 2011 Sexy Sleevers!!
What are YOUR reasons...
I have a long list of reasons I want to have this surgery...
The most important reason is my 5 year old son. I want to be able to live a good long time and watch him grow up and become an adult and have his own kids. I want to be able to run and play with him at the park RIGHT NOW. I want to fit my butt in the slide. I don't want him to be the kid at school with the Fat Mom. I want him to grow up with a healthy, capable, energetic Mom.
I also want the following:
To ride ALL the roller coasters at Magic Mountain
To wear high heels
To be able to buy clothes because I like them, not just because they fit
To not have my thighs rub together when I walk
To be able to run
To not shy away from pictures
To be more comfortable in my skin
These are just a few... there are SOOO many reasons to do it. And very few reasons not to ;-)
That are YOUR reasons??
on 10/10/11 9:30 am
1. Cross my legs without having to hold it up with my foot on the seat in front of me! :)
2. Not have to worry if I'm gonna need the seatbelt extender on the airplane
3. Constant foot and ankle pain
4. Be able to tuck my shirt in instead of the oversized shirt/t-shirt trying to hide the bulge
5. More confidence
6. Fit in the seats at the Football stadium! :)
Can't wait to hear everyone elses.
I want to cross my legs in jeans and not have them slip apart.
I want a little black dress with no sleeves even if I end up waving twice at people
I want to run
I want to swim and not be embarassed to be in a swim suit
I want to get rid of my Metformin, Cholesteral Med and all the damn supplements I take.
I want to run up the stairs and not pass out at the top (never happened, but it's felt pretty close a few times)
I want my allgeries to get better.
I want my back to get better.
I want to look as sassy on the outside as I feel on the inside.
I want to wear calf boots with heels, black or dark brown.
1. To be able to play with my nephew, like run or jump on a trampoline, go to Bouncy Bears.
2. Be heathly like most be off Metformin, Amryl, Victoza, all other meds.
3. Suprise my family down in the states whom I havent seen since August 2009, I am due for a visit.
4. When I fly not use the seatbelt extender. I hate the stares from other passengers on the plane.
5. Be a better example for the youth I work with.
6. Be comfortable in a bathing suit.
7. Be more confident in myself image.
8. Go back to College and get my AAS in Human Service and be proud of where I have come from and do a paper or presentation on Weight loss Surgery, the ups and downs.
9. Run, and run in a marthon, or 5 k.
10. Be a better advocate for plush people, (I don't know how to be Polictly Polite), I mean if I see some one being made fun of for being fat, stick up for them.
I have some more, so this is food for thought if you would say.
YES, I am with you about the seatbelt extender.... we will NEVER have to use those again!!
BTW - I was born and raised in AK, grew up in Fairbanks. Just think was all of your family "outside" will think when they see you! (to the rest of you, "outside" or "lower 48" is what we called the rest of the US ;-)
Take care,
JOdie
My 11...in no particular order:
1. To wear a bathing suit...without a cover up
2. To be in the FRONT of a picture, and not the back hiding
3. To shop with my BFF's, who are a size 8 and 6...(I won't be able to say "skinny women are evil" anymore...)
4. To no longer be in jeapordy of knee replacements at such a young age (I'm only 31)
5. To complete a Warrior Dash...and NOT be last
6. To sweat because it's actually hot...and not because I'm so out of shape
7. To have skinny sex
8. To skydive...I'm currently over the maximum weight limits
9. To be able to paint my own toes without feeling sufficated
10. To cross my legs
11. To do all of the outdoor activities my 5 year old can handle
