So i am kinda feeling blaaa lately. I'm getting bored of soup/yogourt/jello/pureed chicken, tuna, and egg . Does anyone have any ideas or should i move onto the next stage minced food? I'd really appreciate any feed back since I stayed on soups an extra week because i had visitors over so it was just easier but now almost two weeks of trying pureed i'm running out of ideas. Thank you all.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm still 35lbs from goal, but at least I'm more than half way there! I see you're very close to your goal now. Good for you. You will LOVE Wonderland next year!
Cheers!

I am like yourself, 4 months ago, I would never think about going on the rides. I had a embarassing experience at Wonderland a few times. I attempted to ride the Cyclone ride that swings like a pengelam and I could not fit in the seat. I did not realize it but there are a couple seats that are larger for people like who I use to be. I was swapped for the larger seat and i was crushed into the seat to ride the ride.
I am much smaller now, I know this for a fact but I am still leary on going to Wonderland. This year is out now, park is closed. I will go in the spring and try the rides, and I am quite certain I will fit this time.
Keep up the great work on the weight loss and thank you for sharing a simular story to mine! Makes me feel better knowing you succeded and I am sure I will to come spring time!

I'm Eileen. (Lakeside Lady) I live in the northern part of York Region called Georgina on Lake Simcoe. I'm coming up to my one year anniversary (or Bandiversary as us "Bandsters" call it) of having my Lap-band placed.
Saturday I had one of my best non scale victories to date. I rode the rides at Wonderland including the BEHEMOTH with my two sons. A year ago, before my surgery I would not have even imagined fitting onto these rides. In fact, I'd been embarassed in the past by having to get off a ride because the safety belt wouldn't do up around me.
I'm about half way to my goal so far and so much happier with life, healthier and definitely more energetic!
Cheers!

I just had my gall bladder out two weeks ago and now my surgeon is having me in for a battery of tests on my stomach due to constant pain up to excrutiating when eating. I've dropped 25lbs in less than a month.
Can you believe a year ago I was in a size 36 and 400 pounds and now am 230 and in a size 18 as of today? I'm so excited I can barely sit still.
Hope to hear from you soon. PS: Can you email me at [email protected] with whether you can give me a lift? I can definitely chip in for gas if you were kind enough to give me a ride.
Christina.
