Sorry it took so long to get back you.  I do not get on this site very often anymore.  Yes we still meet.  Things have been crazy lately though.  I have posted some new dates for the summer.  If you need further information please feel free to message me.  It is easier to get me at either [email protected] or on facebook.  You can find us under Niagara Region WLS Support Group through my page and you can try to find me with my email [email protected]

I hope this help.  Please join our facebook group that has the most current information on it.

Thanks so much and I hope to see you out at one of our meetings.

Does this group still meet?  If so, does anyone know when and where the next one is?

Topic: Vitamins and Supplements
I was having a very difficult time digesting my prenatal vitamins and getting in all of my supplements and protein for the day.  I started really losing my hair and just generally feeling sluggish and unhappy.

I have found the perfect solutions!

I am a marketing consultant and I have recently started working with a Wellness Company.  Their products have changed everything for me.  I have more energy, my hair loss has all but stopped, my digestion is improving and I have no problem with getting everything I need in a day.

I would love to tell you more about these products and the fantastic company I'm working with.  To learn more about why I am so excited, please contact me at [email protected] or via phone at 289-687-0795.

I look forward to helping you!

Topic: RE: Niagara - Gynecologist
Sorry I am responding so late, I do not get on here very often.  I find the site too slow....But I currently see Dr. Cheema, but I plan on going to see a OB/GYN at McMaster when my husband and I plan on having another one.  I will see Cheema for regular check ups but go to MaC to see them every so often and to deliver.  I have a really good GP who is on board with this as well.  You can ask the Bariatric clinic at St. Joe's for a referral.

Hope this helps.,

Jen

Topic: Niagara - Gynecologist
Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone has a gynecologist in the Niagara area that they would recommend? I am looking for a doctor that has dealt with getting pregnant after having surgery and I cant seem to find anyone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Kim

Topic: Puree Recipes
Alright Jen, as requested, here are some recipes for the puree/goopy phase.

- Low Fat refried beans mixed with a little bit of taco seasoning, a glob of FF Sour Cream, and a little grated cheese.  Pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds till the cheese melts.  YUMMY!

- Lasagna Soup - FF Cottage Cheese, tsp of low sugar spaghetti sauce, a pinch of oregano or basil, tsp of parmesean cheese.  Throw it in the microwave until it gets bubbly.  This also works with Ricotta cheese instead of Cottage.

That's pretty much all I ate on purees - I couldn't bring myself to eat pureed meat! lol
