Losers Nascar 29
Well let's try this again February 11, 2013 5:38 am Hi everybody, I seem to apologize everytime I attempt to get the group active again. I have posted this before but I see some new members who must really think me awful. If ya'll are still with me, I will try to explain. Some of you know me outside of OH so you know the story but for those that joined in faith and are left in the dark will try to explain. Many of you may know that my Tony was sick and on dialysis. For 4 years, just a year after my RNY surgery, Tony's stage4 Kidney Disease progressed to the point that he was on dialysis 3x a week. Coupled with the kidney and diabetes, Tony developed other issues that soon became life threatening. 10 months after my surgery, Tony became very ill and could not longer work. And for the next 4 years I was on the road to first one Doctor then another to a hospital to a clinic 5 days a week. That is not including the many many 911 ambulance calls and transports and half the nights spent in ER or on the road to Nashville for Centennial hospital stay or Tullahoma hospital stay. January 2011 Tony lost his mother and sister within two weeks of each other. I was the executor of the estate so we had to go to Nevada to take care of the business. Then in 9 months, October 11 th I lost my Tony. I drove him to California for spreading os his ashes. then in July, just 8 months later I lost my mom. Again I had to go out west and take care of her memorial then drive her to Hutchinson, Kansas for burial of her ashes. My Journey has basically been full of fast food, no food, no rest and nothing but stress. My anniversary is 12-03-2007 so as you can see I just passed my 5 year mark. It seems that my reason for living is sort of gone, and I am not so sure where to start. When I received the letter about the survey to keep my OHL status I wondered if I had anything to offer as a leader anymore. But I took the survey and said I wanted to remain a leader. I hope that I can figure out a way to get these messages to you in your email boxes. For some reason I haven't figured out how to get the messages to you guys and if you don't check here, you don't see them. I will check on that. Til then, if any of you receive this could you let me know at my email
or tannis zamora on FB? Need to figure out how to keep in touch. God Bless you guys.

Been along time March 16, 2011 4:32 am Hi all,
Be the first to leave a comment.Welcome to the 3 new members. I must apologize to each and every one of you. I know it has been forever since I posted to you guys. The leader of the M'boro group had to leave and I started the group back up at another location. I was running that group until last August 2010 when my brother was diagnosed with Cancer. In the interum my hubby has become very ill. From working one day to dialysis 3x a week and never to work again to amputation of four toes two weeks ago. As you guys can imagine, there hasn't been any time for "tannis". I have gained back 35 pounds and I haven't had my blood work done in over 18 months. BUT I do have an appt. scheduled for tomorrow the 17th. With having had RNY the mal absorption is scary and I need to make sure my vitamin regimen is adequate. You know when you get 3 years plus out, it seems like we let "life" take back over and we forget about ourselves. I finally reailized when I got a notice from Cathy and Debbie about some upcoming events that I "NEED" to get back with the program. And what a better place to start then with my support group buddies. The only positive thing is I STILL am a support group junky and attend 2 meetings a month in Shelbyville. So guys, we are here if you need to Chat or BLOG or ??? take care and GOD BLESS tannis
WOO HOO it's February........ February 9, 2009 9:42 am The Bud Shootout was Saturday night and well if you are part of THIS GROUP you KNOW that MY driver WON the SHOOTOUT.
Be the first to leave a comment.LoL, okay got that out of the way. Welcome everybody. I see we had two new members join last month. It is great to have you here. Please pass the word. I would LOVE to get at least ONE new member a month. Remember that the BLOG, DISCUSSION and PHOTOS are YOUR places to post and use for the GROUP. I would like to keep in touch with each of you at least once a week if possible. I know that we all have busy lives but it has been my experience that a SUPPORT Group is absolutely vital to my well being and the success of my weight loss journey. We will have a once a month CHAT. Our WL jouney isn't the only topic now, remember this is a RACING group. And our SEASON is upon us with a bang!! Come and start a discussion about racing, your favorite driver, your favorite track and try to bring your weight loss journey experiences into that arena. For me, the challenge of my weight PREVENTED me from going to a race. I couldn't walk the distance to the grandstands from the parking area. Even with a handicap tag, it was still too far. And then to CLIMB up those rows to my seat. Forget it. Not to mention the waiting in line to buy a souvenir, go potty or get something to drink. But boy howdy let me tell you, this year at Martinsville, honey I WALKED them thar hills and never huffed and puffed ONE TIME. And for those of you who haven't been to Martinsville, it is ALL San Francisco type hills. Not a flat spot ANYWHERE. Okay, that's my beginning discussion. Come on and let me hear from yas. tannis GO KEVIN #29
Hi everybody January 7, 2009 9:11 pm WOW our membership has grown to 7. Ya'll are looking so GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
Be the first to leave a comment.I am sorry I have been sort of MIA. My hubby is in the hospital. He is diabetic and has been slowly experiencing Renal failure. He is now stage 5 end stage and his body was so backed up with toxins that he had congestive heart failure. Almost 2 mos ago a fistula was done for the dialysis needles and now Tony will be on dialysis 3 times a week. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello everyone. Our regular monthly meetings will be the first Monday of the month. This will start in February instead of an official January meeting because of my hubby. I have been in touch with Cathy and Debbie and will be getting a form that must be used to document our meetings. Also, they will help me get the ONLINE meeting set up. For now I am using this blog to communicate with ya'll. This is sort of the UNofficial January meeting if you guys don't mind. To start off with, if you guys feel comfortable, please write a short blog on the following. REMEMBER, you do not need to have HAD SURGERY or even WANT surgery. Just being interested in getting control of a weight issue and coming to be with us for SUPPORT is all that we are interested in. Surgery date RNY, Lap or Sleeve or ??? A little about yourself logistics, where live etc. (being an online support group, I expect us to have lots of stories LOL) Questions you may have. Food menu issues ( I refuse to say the word DIET, ugh. This is NOT going to be a journey of dieting. This is a NEW beginning with a food plan that will sustain us for the rest of our lives). And last but NOT LEAST, your favorite NASCAR Driver!!! We WILL talk a little about our favorite subject guys I promise. And having said that, just some general guidelines to follow please. NO BASHING or Disrespect to others. Everything we talk about in our group is to STAY in our group. PLEASE respect the confidentiality of each other's business. Every single person here is VALUABLE and we ALL have faced many of the same prejudice, harassment, embaressment over weight issues. Let this be a safe place to come and have good fellowship. IF at ANY TIME someone needs one on one, just let me know. God Bless you guys, oh and GO 29. tannis

Sorry my guy missed out on the championship, but 2nd in both Nationwide and Nextel ain't too shabby. Still bummed that Hornaday didn't get Benson but theres always next year. Why does it seem like forever til the Daytona races........aarrrgggg.......what to do with that spare time.
