Hi there, I think I have reached the 3 week stall.  Only lost 0.6kg... Any ideas on how to get things moving again.  Any inspiration welcome... food, exercise or positive thoughts.

I think I am still in a 3 weeks stall. Today is my 1 month surgiversary. I have lost 2 pounds in 3 weeks. Everything I have read on here says if you change something up, add protein, lower carbs, more exercise, or change routine; it should start again. I am hopeful

Hi - yes I had a 3 week stall and now at my 5/6 week stall !

Think it's just the body catching up - I think you just have to keep with the programme - concentrate on good protein, keep up the fluids and keep on walking/exercising.

It worked for me at 3 weeks out and am sure it will continue to work for me now.

I have started to pay more attention to what I am eating and am now logging everything so that is helpful to start learning properly out sources of protein and carbs etc.

I also went in-line skating for the first time this morning which was fun - even though I did provide entertainment for the gardeners !  First time I've been on skates since I was at school !

Am sure you will start losing again soon.

Does 3-week stall mean that the stall start in the 3rd week after surgery or that it the stall lasts for 3 weeks?

OMG seriously... I could not just stall like everyone else... I went UP FIVE POUNDS!!!
Grrrr.....

Seriously?!

Arg!

I know it's part of the process and hopfully it means I am properly hydrated and all that but it just freaks me out because I stalled for a whole year trying all sorts of stuff before surgery so of course i am one of those that thinks I am going to be the one that the surgery does not work for....

:(

I am 3 weeks post op today, so I will let you know if I stall. I just started Mushies yesterday...so we will see how that goes.

I'm about one month post-op.  My stall lasted 2 weeks..
Admittedly I was slacking on drinking water because it was tough to swallow at first and I just wasn't thirsty.
Then, I started thinking the same thing Maryposa just said, how sad it would be if I'd gone through this whole surgery and the most I would lose is 15 pounds...
So I started keeping track of my fluid intake, and magically over the weekend 3 pounds gone :)

Your body is adjusting...give it time and just keep getting in your protein and taking your vitamins and water, and follow your doctor's eating plan.
