WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SUCESS SO FAR?

Mine would have to be sticking faithfully to my Optifast for 2 weeks. Without fail! I have my surgery monday and I am so excited for this new lifestyle! :)

Much love,

My biggest success so far is getting all my protein in.  It is hard in the beginning simply because our stomachs can't hold very much.  Have to drink all day long, but I don't have the energy/strength I need if I don't get it all in.  Best of luck to you on Monday!

I have to say that my biggest success so far, weight-loss wise, has been making this decision and making it this far in the process. My surgery is March 30 and I'm very excited! I sat on the fence for 2 1/2 years making this decision, researching while trying to do it through diet and exercise alone. Ultimately, I decided that I'm just spinning my wheels and I need this tool to get me through the constant failure barrier. No pun intended, but I feel already as though a big weight has been lifted. Soon it will be for real!

Btw, I think this group was a wonderful idea. Since we are all starting at roughly the same time, we can check in with one another to discuss experiences and give support. This is great! Thank you!

My biggest success is also just making the decision to do this and going through with it. It might be one of the biggest decisions I've made in my life. After that, it's just getting in all the protein and liquid. Gosh, I get tired of sipping by the end of the day!

Sticking to the post-op diet "phases." Clear liquids, all liquids, purees, then mushies. Tomorrow I get to start mushies and I'm soooo excited.

Also, I have lost 32 lbs and I'm pretty stoked about that!

Today goodness willing will be my first sucess. I am going to take my kids to the park to go walk around the walk/jog trail. 1.5 miles. Normally I do 3 miles but this will be my first walk around it since having the surgery.
