I totally understand how you feel and we all live by fear to a certain degree. The Lord will be with you and his angel will be amongst you. He will see you through this, just trust and believe and faith will pull you over. We are here for support and will check on you to make sure all is well with you. Besides, a month from now you will be on the journey to Faboulousity. This doesn't only pertains to Kimora Lee.

You've been in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know when you'll receive this but I'm sending well wishes from my heart to yours.
How are you doing? How did it go for you? By the time you read this, you'll be on the losing side of things.
I was very scared. When I walked out the door, my 6-year old son (at the time was 6) grabbed my hand and told me "Mama, please don't die." Okay, that was so hard. I had to talk to myself to remind me of the reasons I was doing this was to be a better mom, healthy and happier, and to increase my quality of life.
Then another snag was as they rolled me down to the OR, I seriously considered how it would be to have the words come out of my mouth "I've changed my mind." Again, some pretty fast self-talk.
Obviously, 8 years later as a post-op, I'm grateful every day that I didn't change my mind. For myself personally, it has been one of the top things I've ever done for myself in my life along with getting married and having my sons.
I'm anxious to hear from you so let me know. I'm thinking of you.

Well it is just the beginning the pain is sometiming but I keep walking and coughing I think I am done with coughing part but the gas hurts so I work more at walking. the left side of my tummy in the corner feels real heavy and hurts the worst the biggest cut I guess it feels like something is twisting in my stomache on that side......so I get better everyday just waiting to completely heal it's but worth it and I pray alot.
I had very little pain - but I spent approximately the first week just laying around. I went back to work in about 3 week - I'm a psychologist so there was no heavy lifting to be concerned about - although I had a fair distance to walk from the parking lot to my office. Each day was better. Also, my husband was there to do anything I needed to be done so I really took it very very easy. Might you be pushing yourself too much? Allow yourself to be pampered - and enjoy it! This isn't the time to be invested in "I'll do it myself" LOL
What refeeding schedule does your dr use with patients? Mine is rather conservative and has his patientients spend 2 weeks on each of the 4 levels. You might be progressing through the levels a bit faster than your band is comfortable with.
I have gone for a fill about every 4 months in the 3 years since my surgery. Each time Dr. Lord has made my band a bit tighter. The last time I had a fill, I think I have my band the tightness I want so I have waited 6 months since my last fill. I have that checkup/fill appointment today. Am anxious to see if my band has remained the same size or if I will need a little fill to bring it back down to that size. Our bands do stretch a bit - as do the by-pass surgery openings. The thing I really like about the lap band is that we can have the size of our opening adjusted. No other proceedure has that luxury.
If you're comfortable with doing it, please keep me posted on your progress.
