Right now I am waiting on the final cost of the event and the price for the Hotel .
I will give you what I know at this time ,
It will be held at the Hyatt in Chester Va ,
Friday night will be a meet and greet in the lounge with lots to eat and drink. There is a Mexican and Chinese restaurant right across the street - so after our meet and greet we will decide on what to do for dinner ,
In the cost of your ticket , Saturday your lunch will be provided in between our sessions , I plan on having a group session , A woman's Session , A Men's Session and If I can pull it off a couples session. I am having trouble finding a WLS couple to speak ,
Saturday night there will be a ****tail hour in the lounge , where there will be Non Alcoholic drinks and food for us , then after that we will have a sit down dinner , This is all included in your ticket cost ,
The only thing you would have to pay for is your breakfast and they have a free continental ,and a hot breakfast you can pay for .
Sunday will be a brief meeting to say our good byes and to wrap up our weekend ,
Once I have the cost , which should be ready by tomorrow I will announce it .
I know a lot of you live out if town and it is in the Winter . I can tell you that the events I have done in the past so many had a great time , they tell me they felt like they where leaving family .
In order for me to pull this off I need at least 40 people to commit and buy tickets . The cut off date will be October 15th ,
But like I said once I have all the cost I will make the formal announcement .
Pray I can pull this off , I truly love doing these ,
Many thanks ,
Tink

Helping Others Find Their Way to a Life They Deserve!
I am just 4 weeks post-op and am doing well. I have lost about 50 lbs including the two weeks pre-op on liquids. I am looking forward to being a part of this group.

In June I had a relapse. I gained over 12 pounds and then spent the whole month of July and part of August getting that weight off. August I did everything right 90 percent of the time and only lost 3 pounds. But at least I had not gained, but still disconcerting because I knew with what I was eating and the exercising I was doing almost daily that I should have been losing at least 2 pounds a week.
Now it is September 13th and I have lost 8 pounds already for a total of 30 pounds, My BMI is back in the 40's. My body finally realized I was not going to let it win. I was going to stick it out. When I started out my goal was 8 pounds a month. That would mean now I should have lost 42 to 48 pounds. So I am a little behind. Wouldn't it be something if I caught up some how in the next 4 to 6 weeks. I am not sweating it. But I still think about it. I am not complaining or upset I have lost only 30 pounds. I am just reflecting.
I am very happy with the 30! I am happy because I have stop the bleeding (gaining). I am so on my mission now to reach all my goals. Maybe I will not reach them on the timetable I set but as long as I do not give up I am on my way. I still have a long ways to go and plenty of soul searching to do but I am on my way. I am making a come back. You can get back on track! I am back on track and I feel good about it. I am going all the way.
My many friends and support programs has helped me remain positive and mindful of my ultimate goals. Encouraging others has help me stay on track also. Thanks again for your support!

Daily Inspiration for September 13, 2010
Be realistic.
Are you a perfectionist? Do you tend to give up and overeat if you can't be perfect with your food? The reality is making one mistake does not mean you have to throw in the towel.
You don't have to be perfect; just be honest with yourself. When you start to tell yourself you're a hopeless case, stop and ask yourself: "Is that really true? Am I really hopeless?"
Action for the day: Be realistic and admit there are things you can do to help yourself and your situation. Today, make a new choice and get moving in a healthier direction.

Mountain Moving Faith
A small congregation in the foothills of the Great Smokies built a new sanctuary on a piece of land willed to them by a church member. Ten days before the new church was to open, the local building inspector informed the pastor that the parking lot was inadequate for the size of the building. Until the church doubled the size of the parking lot, they would not be able to use the new sanctuary.
Unfortunately, the church with its undersized parking lot had used every inch of their land except for the mountain against which it had been built. In order to build more parking spaces, they would have to move the mountain out of the back yard.
Undaunted, the pastor announced the next Sunday morning that he would meet that evening with all members who had "mountain-moving faith". They would hold a prayer session asking God to remove the mountain from the back yard and to somehow provide enough money to have it paved and painted before the scheduled opening dedication service the following week.
At the appointed time, 24 of the congregation's 300 members assembled for prayer. They prayed for nearly three hours. At ten o'clock the pastor said the final "Amen". "We'll open next Sunday as scheduled," he assured everyone. "God has never let us down before, and I believe He will be faithful this time too."
The next morning as he was working in his study there came a loud knock at his door. When he called "come in", a rough looking construction foreman appeared, removing his hard hat as he entered.
"Excuse me, Reverend. I'm from Acme Construction Company over in the next county. We're building a huge new shopping mall over there and we need some fill dirt. Would you be willing to sell us a chunk of that mountain behind the church? We'll pay you for the dirt we remove and pave all the exposed area free of charge, if we can have it right away. We can't do anything else until we get the dirt in and allow it to settle properly."
The little church was dedicated the next Sunday as originally planned and there were far more members with "mountain-moving faith" on opening Sunday than there had been the previous week!
