It is discouraging to post and not get replies. I know people are busy. I agree with Molly that maybe with summer done more folks will be on the boards. I know I get encouraged and learn so much from others.

I really need to hear this over and over. I tend to think that if I can't do this perfect I won't do it at all.
I love it that I can say not perfect just honest.

I'm so excited for you. This is my first summer too. I've loved wearing shorts and not feeling embarassed. I can exercise without pain. I can cross my legs. I've gotten more compliments this last 8+ months than I have for my whole life.
This journey is amazing. I know the work continues. I'm up for it.

If you want to attend this you will need to email me so I can send you an address to mail your money for your ticket too. YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET IN ORDER TO GET IN TO THESE EVENTS. NO TICKET NO ENTRY. THERE WILL BE SECURITY AT OUR EVENT.  CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY EMAIL ME AT : [email protected]   In order to make this event a success, there must be at least 40 people to buy tickets. Right now I have 20 rooms blocked off for us. If we need more I can get more.  The ticket cost will cover all the events, vendors and sessions. I am really looking forward to this being one of the most successful events yet. I am working hard on getting us great vendors and I do have some awesome speakers for us. Cutoff date to make the decision on whether this event is a go is NOVEMBER 5^TH. By this date if there is not 40 people signed up and paid for, the event will be canceled.   The Airport you will want to book your flight into is RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL. THERE IS NOT A SHUTTLE FOR THE AIRPORT FOR THIS HOTEL. YOU WILL NEED TO ARRAINGE TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL .  However , Hyatt is set up with Groom Transportation. Let them know this when you book your room that you will need Groom to pick you up from the airport.   I am hoping to see you there and make this a true NEW YEAR … NEW YOU …  

I wanted to challenge my group to look into adopting a soldier overseas. No matter what your opinion on the way is , our men and women still need our support . I am now on my second soldier and OMG they love getting care packages from us .

I would like to challenge my group to take on the adoption of a soldier . You do not need to spend a lot of money , Most of the items I get I go to the dollar store to get .
One guy all he wanted was clean pillow cases. Some like the satin ones . Something as simple as han sanitizer... lotion , sun screen . It is becoming winter there and my soldiers have already started talking about blankets. So I am heading out this weekend to buy blankets.

Many of these guys and gals are so young , Scared and lonely . A hand written letter from you just letting them know you care means more than you will ever know .
