Dear Melissa,
I'm so excited for you. This is one amazing journey. My emotions where all over the place, excitement, fear, anxiety, embarrassment, any thing you can think of. I really think this is all normal.
I felt so afraid I'd die that I wrote notes to my husband, sons & friends. For me, I can say I do not have any regrets NOW. For the first weeks, everyday I woke up thinking "what have I done to myself". Express your fears, call them what they are, share with others. If you pray, pray and ask others to pray. If it's okay with you I'll pray for you.
Hugs~
Annie

10-14-10  Thursday

Hey guys,

It's nice to see from the replies that we are taking our exercising seriously.  It will only get us to goal sooner and stronger

Lasts nite workout was fabulous,  I really thought that the bike would not be a challenge for me, but It actually was.  I worked up a sweat and my legs were burning by the time I was finished.

Tonight's plan is to do  @least 45mins of cardio and maybe some arm workouts.

What are your plans for today?  please share!

For me, I was so afraid of the surgery that for close to 10 years, I wouldn't even consider it.  Until my dr said if I don't, I will probably have a stroke.  The surgery seemed a lot safer than pretty much the certainty of having a stroke.  After that, I just didn't think about it.

take care
