Good morning Annie,

I know for me the interchange of encouragment is what has helped me along my journey. My group meetings are really not convient to attend. But I plan to make an effort to go. In the meantime, this place can be so helpful on this new lifestyle journey. You get out of it or anything for the matter what you put in. It has been so nice to meet you and Tink and Molly and others.

I am in Phx, AZ right now visiting w/my sister, she had surgery on Friday and she is doing great. We are home having breakfast and enjoying each others company. I had to check on my OH friends.

talk to ya soon!

I would really like to get to know folks on this discussion board. For me, I think one of the keys for success is to have a place to share. I get encouraged when I can encourage another. As I share it somehow strengthens me. I remind myself I don't need to do this perfect to share or encourage.
Happy Sunday friends~

Welcome Scarlett1962, It's great to have you join Life-Starts. I look forward to getting to know you.
I'm 11 months out from RNY. I've lost 100 pounds but I know the real work starts in 3 pounds when I reach my goal. To maintain I think will be more challenging. It's one day at a time for the rest of my life.
Have a great day.
Hugs~

Topic: RE: HOW MANY OF YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OH TOOLS?
After I first had the surgery I used the Nutrition Tracker frequently.  Then the impact of the surgery hit me, then school started, and somehow I injured my back... I haven't used it with any regularity since. I'm not ready to take that challenge with the nutrition tracker, but I will use the activity tracker and hopefully work up from there.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to my new chapter in life.
I am 6 years post op and there are days I still struggle to see or find who I am.
I am hoping that by helping others I will be able to help myself.

I am 6 years out and STILL get this. It sometimes feels like they are waiting for me to mess up for the I told you it wouldn't work.   It isn't only at the holiday meals but any meal that someone thinks they know what we are or have gone through.

It seems like Annie and myself answer a lot of post as well as Molly and Jazzy .

I know there are a lot of you out there , as I see people checking out the post.

I am curious as to what keeps you all from posting ? Remember this is your group too .. and we value your opinion , inspiration and anything you have to offer , so do not be hesitant to post .

I look forward to this board to begin jumping with activity !
