I realize this message is a "little" old but I found it helpful.  It was reflective of some of the challenges that may be present when undergoing any type of surgery as well as encouragement that others have succeed despite challenges.  Thank you for that insight!

 I also set resolutions for the new year and I am still working on them . . . some of them slowly but surely!  I am taking time to consciously evaluate what works or otherwise for the first time.  Thankfully the journey thus far has been truly enlighting and getting brighter everyday!

I concur that exercise is very important--I speak from experience.  I have tried to lose weight without exercise and I have tried withou****ching what I ate . . .  Neither was effective long-term without the other.  I learned to discover exercises that I liked because I love the way it makes me feel and look in combination with my diet, it is a lifestyle change!

Here is your Leader Handout for the week. 
Exercise .. it is the key component for weight loss. If you think that diet alone is going to do it .. well I am here to tell you , you must exercise.  If you are having trouble finding an exercise that works for you , let me know ... I have all kinds of hints on how to burn some calories.

Topic: CHANGE IN MEETING FORMAT
Being we are getting very little responce .. I have decided to meet here once a month . I have tried everything I know to get you all interested in this group ... I am at the point of doing away with the group and starting over . But I feel one more chance is needed . So once a Month we will meet here on the 15th of each month . AT that time if you have anything you want to discuss or bring to the table , that would be the time to do it . If things pick up maybe we can go back to the wy it was before .

We have new members .. WELCOME TO ALL !! ...
