Hi Melody, hang in there. I've just started the pre-op process and I keep wondering if I'll make it. However, I hear nothing, but uplifting things from the group so believe in yourself and keep going. You've come this far, it can only get better.

Welcome to the group Melody.  Sorry to hear about your complications.  Trust me, they will pass and things will get better.  I was sick for about 2 months after the surgery and even ended up back in the hospital.  At the time it was hard to believe things would get better, and I had big time buyer's remorse.  But things did get better and they will for you, too.

Best wishes.

Thank you for the lovely comments gals, and guy!  I am feeling better and better about the total weight loss.  Sometimes seeing the number that still needs to be accomplished is a bit daunting... but I keep trying to tell myself, remind myself, how far I HAVE come... It seems only yesterday I began this journey... and that was almost 2 years ago!  So I know I will get there, and when I do will be amazed at how fast it has gone.

Sweet Tink,

Thanks for the encouragement.  We all need to stick together during the season of holiday treats.  I will be loging in a lot to OH during the next month or so.

Blessings,

Sarah,

Welcome to the group.  As the others have said, there is nothing you can't accomplish.  Whatever you do, stick with the positive people and surround yourself with successful people.  You will become like those who you associate with.  There are many successful people here on OH who will stand with you!!

Congratulations on your success so far and keep up the good work!

Hi Melody,
Thanks for posting a little about yourself. You are in the hard part of this process. It seems for a lot of people that at week 10 you turn a corner. Those first weeks are hard no question about it.
I live in Colorado too. Please let us know how we can encourage you.
Hugs~
Annie
