So... my confession of the week...I brought some "snacks" for the kids because I got a great deal on them (not the best reason, but I rarely buy any type of "junk" food).
Here it goes...I found out that Pringles go down fairly easily......I stopped myself after 10, maybe 12 chips and havent touched it since then. I have made a commitment to myself not to touch them again and at the same time monitor the amount my children consume.
My other demon is cheese...I LOVE CHEESE!! I know its a decent food but in large quantities can be dangerous. I am keeping my self to a 1/4 cup a day so the scale keeps moving downward! but it is hard...Many a times-I have snuck into the fridge and grabbed a pinch of cheese... So I am working on enjoying it but limiting it!
I feel better and anyone in the same boat? I would be happy to hear that I am not the only one and maybe we can find ways to keep on succeeding!
Thanks for reading...
How has everyone been ? What is new ?
I am now getting ready to head down to my daughters , she lives about 2 hours away. I am going to be there to sit for the children.
I am also going to be scouting out a meeting room for LifeStarts WLS In Colonial Heights VA . My daughter is the Director of Sales for Hilton , and she is letting me use one of her meeting rooms for our support group.
Well .. let me know how everyone is doing .
I missed being here ,

Daily Inspiration for May 9, 2011
Commit to action.
You've probably heard the phrase "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today." Yes, it's a cliché, but it rings exceptionally true for WLS patients.
It's frighteningly easy to put your health on the back burner. Maybe you get so busy during the day that you think nothing of skipping meals or forgetting to drink your water. Of course, one day won't matter in the long run, but by putting things off until "tomorrow" you're really telling yourself that you're not worth the time and effort it would take to care for your health. Because the funny thing about waiting for tomorrow is&we put the tasks off until tomorrow, again.
Action for the day: If you've been letting other things get in the way of your WLS lifestyle, take action TODAY to get back on track. Sign up for an exercise class, create a supplement regimen, or start keeping a journal of what you eat.

You should be very proud of no regain lady!! Brag on even though I know you were not bragging. It is also very inspiring and I know it is hard work babe!! thanks for reminders and I do all of them. I drink like a fish and exercise. I log foods also on MFP.com. My demon is the food addiction. But I am doing better and not gaining so I am good. I am in no hurry. The only goal I made for myself this year is to be under 300 pounds. After I reach and maintain that goal for a while, I will make another goal.
One day at a time! Enjoy trip!
