That means to me, "Just joinning a gym won't work, you have to actually go there."

Tink, I think that's a noble idea, but honestly, my opinion is that you would be inundated with people calling you wanting "couch time with Tink".  It might sound bad of me, but to tell the truth if you did that, you might be biting off a bigger piece than you can chew.  Doing things like that can take a major toll on ya.  You should know that after talking with my sorry ass so much!  JMHO...LOL  Love you girl.

I was never very strict with that - I had to at least sip with meals; especially when I was only eating protein.  Otherwise, no matter how well I chewed, it felt like it was stuck in my throat.  I never understood the no water before, when everyone was telling me fluids run right through your pouch - how does it help you eat less?  But the no drinking after - that part I can see the sense of.  The longer you hold the food in your pouch, the longer you feel full.

I have pretty much let that rule fall by the wayside; maybe I should try it again.  Not because I think the "no fluids before" part works, but just because it's one of the Mental aspects of a post-WLSer and that may help me stick to the other parts.

Topic: Progress!
Of a sort:  I have lost 4 pounds since Friday when I started working out.  I don't know how much is water weight, and I don't know how much muscle mass (if any) I've developed yet, so I don't know how much actual *fat* I've lost, but the scale moved DOWN for once in a loooong time.  That's better than not moving, or worse, moving up.

I'm not feeling so well, but I'm going to attempt to work out anyway, even if I put in less of an effort or have to stop early.  I know if I don't at least *try*, if I skip today because I don't feel well, then I'll skip tomorrow... and the next day...  and then I'll be back to "I"ll start Monday".  We've all heart *that* Diet Motto from ourselves thousands of times.

Oh, and the sore legs and butt have loosened up - I can sit on the toilet again without a rope & pulley system to lower me down!

I was thinking about adding a toll free number to my web site.
I wanted this number to be used for people who need support , who need direction to a local support group. I want it also be used for those wanting to reach out and discuss their weight loss struggles.

Would I be opening up a can of worms ?
I would need to make sure to disclose that the number was not to be used as a replacement for surgeons orders or medical advice ?

I seen where someone did this on another site for an eating disorder.
I already do one on one mentoring ...

Your thoughts ....
