Topic: MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE FOR TODAY
Motivational Quote - The minute you start talking about what you’re going to do if you lose, you have lost.
SparkPeople Translation

Find yourself ready for a letdown? Think it will be easier to accept failure if you prepare for that? Well you’re right, it will make failure easier. But that’s not the goal, is it? The goal is to succeed. In order to do that, your entire body must be 100 percent geared towards succeeding, and especially your brain. When you start preparing for an unfavorable outcome, your body is being told it’s okay to fail. And when your body knows it’s okay to fail, it will not try as hard, plain and simple. So what’s the answer? Confidence. Have confidence in yourself and others around you. And if you still miss your goal, dust yourself off and try again. Preparing for failure makes dealing with it easier, but what would you rather have – a nice failure or some hard-fought success?

MCBUTLER you will do great I just know it. What a way to start your journey. I am going to do a 5k in May. I will walk most of it but  a jog here and there may happen. Its amazing how after surgery I just want to participate in life again.

Best Wishes

I am currently 6 months out from RNY and I have lost 85 lbs. The day of surgery I weighed 312.2bs and now 227lbs. I can't remember the last time I was under 230lbs. It feels wonderful. This past weekend, I was able to play on the playground equipment with my 3 year old grandson and it felt so good. Looking forward to more adventures, no matter how small.

Dear friends and family  I have registered as a walker in the Walk from Obesity to be held on May 1st In Schenectady NY. Please join me in this effort to bring attention to the rate of obesity, the challenges and discrimination that exists related to the disease of obesity  I hope to complete the one mile portion of the walk, It may kill me or may take all day but I plan on finishing the one mile walk. I would love for all of you to come and walk with me and encourage me, should you not wish to walk with me it would be nice to see you on the side lines cheering me on.  If you are not able to make it out to walk with me or cheer me on and would like to support obesity research I have set up a place where you can make online donations to support obesity research I have been working on the process of having weight loss surgery to help me lose weight. I plan on having the surgery over the summer Here is my weight loss blog http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/mcbutler or if you wish to leave me words of encouragement you can do so here        http://www.facebook.com/MCBUTLER64 MY PAGE TO SUPPORT ME IN THE WALK TO RAISE FUNDS http://blba.us/i.asp?id=346466-287863314-1 MORE INFORMATION HERE http://walkfromobesity.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ieve nt=346466 Or http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=10150089299810506 Thank you for your support in this goal of mine, walking a mile in something I believe in Sincerely  Mark

Congrat's on your Job! I have to say that it is difficult for me to avoid the food in the office. I have gave in from time to time but today I said "No thanks". I ate  my yogurt that I packed in my lunch and had a handful of nuts, I am going to stick to my eating plan today. I have my desk packed with some nutritious snacks and I pack my lunch about 95% of the time.

Good luck to you and thanks for posting this, I need tips and suggestions as well!.
