SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS .
Most holidays surround with food . I am hoping that this handout gives you some ways to beat the ever taunting of food . Not saying we should not celebrate , but there are ways we can eat healthy and stay on track .
I hope this hand out helps you . If you have other means of survival .. please be sure to share with the group .

meat, cheese and veggies. I fill up on these things so i am not tempted with other items that i would have eaten lots of pre sleeve.

I went to my first christmas party this weekend, i have not had my sleeve yet but i am on the preop low carb diet so i couldnt eat whatever i wanted. I ate lots of shrimp, some goat cheese wrapped in eggplant, and a couple meatballs. I was full and was tempted to eat some of the chips and dip but overall i was satisfied by all the yummy shrimp :)
