SUMMERTIME ... VACATIONS
Good Afternoon everyone …
I wanted to talk to you today about Summertime Vacations. This summer alone I have been on cruise and visits to Florida and down to my brothers lake house . And guess what .. everything revolved around food.
The handout for today has to do with how to prepare for our Summertime … or anytime vacations. We need to be well armed and prepared to handle the food choices. I know for me when I was on the cruise , there was so much food I thought I would be sick . But I stuck to my guns and did protein first and then a salad . I did the best I could with all they had to offer.
I also made sure to stay hydrated . I took protein bars with me on some excursions. Do not let Vacations or Summertime pick ups intimidate you. If you are going to a party where you know there may not be things there for you to eat . Eat before you go and take along some carrots , or sugar snap peas to munch on .
