 Hi Natalie,

I was reading your post for exercise.  I am 4 years out and haven't been excersing like I should so I now have turned to flab.  Are there any exercises to would recomment to really tighten and tone.  Unfortunately, I don't swim.

When I first started out in my journey, I did not join a gym. I walked a lot and I swam a lot . Swimming is the best exercise for your legs. So if you can find a gym that has an indoor pool, I would highly suggest taking advantage of it .

Also, there are a ton of exercises you can do right in your own living room that will tighten your legs and butt .
I can send you some ideas if you like . However ... like I said ... when I got started in my journey , I weighed 359 pounds... I got in that pool almost daily or every other day and I water walked.
I lost 100 pounds in 90 days . Now I am not saying that everyone should be at that rate , I just had a metabolism that was put into high gear by doing my protein and water religiously ,

Let me know if I can help you in any way .

Hey girl!  You are all over the place!!  Great seeing you here!  I am going to get into the swimming thing some time this year for sure.  How did Tink reply to you within your message?   Interesting.

Sorry for the late reply , but I just got out of the hospital again. I had a nasty Kidney infection and contracted VRE .. my body is resistant to most antibiotics now .

To answer your questions .
There are many ways you can tone your arms . If you have heavy cans of anything in your house .. paint cans , 5 gallon buckets . etc .. You can go out and lift these and do arm curls .

As to your butt and legs .. try this ..
Sit on the floor .. with each butt cheek , move it as if you where using it to walk. This will pull the glutes and tighten them . You can also stand on a step , place your heel on each step , and move it up and down , this will also trim the buttocks and help to firm your thighs .
Any hanging skin , unfortunately will not go away . But you can still firm up the muscle underneath. .

Here is a link to an article that I think will help you . Let me know if I can help you any further. If I run across anything else , I will let you know .
Take care ,
Tink
