LifeStarts WLS
SO WHAT IS GOING ON GROUP ? !!!!
Happy Monday Everyone!
It is the New Year… what have you all planned for this year? I want to liven up this board and get more people interacting. There are so many of us starting our journeys and working on goals.
If you are getting ready for surgery, or have some WOW moments to share, come on, let’s hear it.
As for me.. My goals this year is to get healthier, to get a better handle on my Osteoporosis and my overall health. I want to begin training again and working out to strengthen my bones and the muscles in my back. My other goals are to help more people by sharing my journey, talking and sharing what Obesity Help is and getting those preparing for surgery to come over and check out our Web Site.
OH to me was the best thing that ever happened to me. I found it by accident when I was researching for my WLS.
So come on … let me hear from you! What’s happening!!

Great question Tink, I made a couple of goals for myself on this year consisting of the following:
1. Excerise more throughout the week
2. Train to do a marathon for obesity this year
3. Not to take on too much in my life that I cannot do,, just learning to say "No"
4. Make more time for family this year

My goal is to up the intensity of my workouts. I hope to reach my weight loss goal by May which means I will have to work my butt off, literally. Actually it is more like my tummy and thighs. I started back at the gym last week at it has been great. I learned the best way to get cardio is to take a group fitness class so Zumba has become part of my week. Strength training is a must because I want to stay toned. My other goals include an increase in water and protein. I have back tracked a little to include an extra protein shake a day. I noticed after only 3 months since surgery my weight loss has slowed down. I don't want to panic but I have 64 lbs to go to hit my goal so I figured some restructure was in order. I am very much open for suggestions! ~ Stacy
