1 year mark
Tomorrow, December 21st is my 1 year mark. Oh what an amazing journey. I am so so grateful for having the surgery and losing 102 pounds with 3 more to go until I reach my goal.
I feel better than I have in a very long time. I've gone from a size 22 to a loose 10. I've had many non-scale victories. I am as different on the inside as I am on the outside. I have a new confidence and self love. People react differently to me but I think a huge piece of that is how I feel about myself I am thankful for all of you. Thanks for all your friendship & care. You have helped to make my year great.

Congratulations Annie! You look fabulous. Would you offer tips with us on how you made the necessary lifestyle changes to be so successful? I’m 6 months out and trying to make this a complete lifestyle change. I’ve definitely been successful in most areas, but it's not as easy as it was initially after the surgery. There are more temptations now and emotional eating is trying to rear its ugly head again in my life. Did you find that true for yourself? If so, how did you deal with it?
