Couch Time with Tink ...
What we did is pretend we are sitting on a couch together and getting to know one another .
There are so many new members who I would love to get to know . So many stories , whether it is weight loss related, if you want to share about your families , your recent vacations ... things like that . For me I found it was such a great outlet for those that wanted to share their journey and WOW moments and such . Share if you want your plans for the holidays . What your goals are for the New Year .
As for me , I am the Mother of 2 grown children , I have 3 grandsons . Dontae is 9 , Anthony is 7 and my newest is Braylen . He will be a year old this month on the 27th . As a young grandmother , I have had to work to keep up with these boys . Do you know how hard it is to keep up with toddlers ? To learn how to play football . I have had to learn how to play X Box .. things that are keeping me young .
7 years ago , when I was Obese , I would have never imagined I would be where I am today . I thank God each day for all he has given me .
I am now planning on developing my newest Support group in the Richmond VA area . I have a great sponsor this time for my meeting room and I am exciting to get started . I will be speaking at the St. Mary's support group meeting at Bon Securs monthly meeting to announce it and to offer my Bariatric Life Coaching . I am so blessed to have such great mentors here at OH that continue to educate us , and keep us up to date on all that we need to succeed .
So come join me and introduce yourselves and if you want , please share ! We are a big group and I know that a lot of us are busy working and taking care to prepare for the upcoming holidays .
I hope to hear from you all ... Ask me anything ... if you have concerns or questions , that is what I am here for .
I look forward to hearing from you .
Have a great Tuesday !

Helping Others Find Their Way to a Life They Deserve!
I have a WOW moment to share. As of yesterday, I officially went from the “obese" BMI category to the “overweight" category. I started out in the morbidly obese category and working my way down through the obese category to get to the overweight category seemed like a farfetched dream. Now that it’s here, I’m happy and at the same time either afraid or in disbelief about the whole thing because I should be thrilled. Something’s holding me back from that though. Did you ever experience anything like this?
Thanks for letting me share. Have a great holiday with your family and best wishes on your new support group.
