How much do you walk?
My company that I work for has started an employee wellness program,
Part of the program they have provided us with a pedometer and asked us to track our steps we take each day. With a goal of 10,000 or more per day for ten weeks
I have finished three weeks of wearing my pedometer, I am proud of myself that I have increased my walking over the last three weeks
The first week I walked 50,307 steps
The second week I walked 62,089 steps
This past week I walked 90,537 steps
This brings me to a total of 202,933 stepsI have set a personal goal to increase my steps each week during the 7 weeks left in the program This week wil be hard to do that as I was not felling well on sat and only got in about 4000 steps in Maybe it is time to get my Cain out and use it more and go for walks in the park or in the mall This may not seem like an accomplishment to everyone else but you must understand that I am a couch potato to the max so much so that if the TV remote is out of reach that I would watch what was on rather than to shift position and reach the control

I have a pedometer and I have to figure out how to set the thing up. I think it would definitely help me keep aware of how much I move throughout the day.

Great Job!!

Way to go McButler!
Using a pedometer gives me such motivation to walk as much as possible. I aim for 10,000 steps per day. I don't alway's make it but it is a good way to measure.
I hope someday to "like" exercise. It is not something I've ever liked.
Have a great walking day~

I'm not a big fan of exercise. I have to say there was a time in my life when I was at 360 that I would watch what was on tv before I would move to get the remote. I know what you are talking about here.

I love my pedometer. It lets me know when I need to do more. Now I wouldn't go anywhere without it.

Good luck with your walking goals.
