So, what was your breaking point?
What event lead you to wls?

My breaking point was when I reached 300lbs and the resulting high blood pressure that has been very difficult to control. After researching and talking with my PCP I knew I had to make a drastic change to improve my health and save my life. Since making the decision to have wls, we have worked as a team to accomplish my goal.

So, tell me about yours...

The very thing that lead me to have surgery , was the doctor told me I had 5 years to live if I did not get the weight off .. that was enough to get my butt motivated .
I have no regrets .. I am 5 years out .. and love my new life ..

So glad you posted this .. it is a great question .. I hope more will respond !

Hugs,

My daughter had wls.  After going with me as I exlored options she beat me to it because she had the courage to take the plunge.  She is my inspiration.
