21 DAY CHALLENGE OF CHANGE - DAY 4
Sometimes as we go through our journey we tend to make excuses for our bad behavior in eating , exercising and our overall health care .
The one thing we must do is take those excuses and turn them into more of a reason to be accountable .
Take those excuses and examine why , when and how .
Why is an excuse needed for the choice you made .
When is this occurring ? Is there a moment that triggers you ?
How can you change this behavior .
Don't let an excuse ruin your day ... Kill the excuse and get it done !

#1) I hate being cold - that may be an excuse but then again it may be that I'm just restating the obvious. Because I loathe being cold it makes getting out and walking at the park - less than enjoyable.
#2) Add in the fact that some nights scheduling demands by family members makes it hard to get to the gym and get dinner done at the same time.
#3) I don't want to do my Wii fit if anyone else is in the room.
So, Today, I have made an exercise plan:
1) Tuesday evening, Thursday evening & Saturday Morning: I'm going to the gym. On weekday afternoons I'm going straight there from work. I'm keeping the gym bag packed and in my van. My workout time is from 6 til 7:30. Dinner will be either leftovers or something from the crock pot. Saturday mornings will be from 10 til 11:30 (maybe a little earlier) but I'll have time to hit a few yardsales and the thrift stores on my way there and back and still be home before I'm missed.
2) Monday & Friday : If the temp is over 60 I'm walking outside. If the weather isn't cooperating then I'm walking inside at work (DUH?!?!****ep a pair of walking shoes and socks under my desk anyway. It's time to dust them off and get busy again. 30 minutes - no excuses.
3) Wednesday: Wii night. Now that we have mutliple remotes - Let the games begin. It's time for a little "friendly" competetion. I'm sure that in no time I'll be doing the Wii fit and not care if anyone else is in the room or not.
4) Sunday: Sunday is play day. Walks in the park. Walks on the beach. Kickball, soccer and games with the kids. Soon will be swimming and boating so that will keep all of us hopping..
I've made up a copy of this schedule to post on the fridge at home and at David's - my fellas can all help keep me accountable.

I know you will be able to sort through your choices and be able to get things in order .
You have to from this point on , make sure your choices in life are for you . We do want to make others happy to , but we must not lose focus on who we are and what is important in our lives.
Keep this in mind .. We only get 86,400 seconds in one day . What we do with them is very important , we do not get them back , nor can we store them .
So make each day count !!
I am very proud that you are seeing how important you are to YOU !
Hugs,
