ARE YOU IN DENIAL ?

I want you all to think about this today .
We find ourselves at times struggling with our weight loss . We get angry with weight gain or find that our weight loss has stopped .. or  we put off exercise .. etc .

Do you sometimes ignore or deny what you are truly supposed to be doing ?
Do you bargain with yourself over food choices . For example .. If I eat only half of this donut it can't be that bad ?

I know at one time I did this .. only to really have to go back to see where I was making bad habits. Thank God I caught on and stopped it .

If you have done this in the past , or feel like you are in denial .
Let's talk about it and see where we can stop it .. or offer up suggestions for this behavior management .

Happy Thursday to you all ,
Tink

My curerent issue is eating food that I know makes me sick, yet I eat it anyway. I really dump on sugar so I totally avoid that. My latest is fried food. In the beginning I found I could eat certain fried foods as long as they were dry of any grease. Now however ANYTHING fried makes me sickbut what do I do? I  still eat it anyway.

Rich , you know that in the south , we fry everything ! I love it .. but it does not love me . The other night I had a fried grouper sandwich... I knew better .. but ate half ... I went into the denial mode .. Oh it won't hurt if I just eat a little bit .. I should have just orderd the broiled or blackened .. and had the veggies ..

I don't do it often , but when I do .. I do it up good !!
As I said many times before .. I is a Foodie ...

Yeah... I would say I falter here.  I got a bag of dark chocolate and say, I can have a piece or two as a dessert before bed.  So what do I do... I handle the chocolate fine.  I got the Hershey's Special Dark Eggs.  I would have 2-4 of them (rather small) and I didn't feel guilty about it.  But then I got to thinking.  I could buy a box of Little Debbie Ho Ho's.  Um yeah... :headbang:  What a dumbass.  I also thought, maybe I could tolerate cereal since I can't take a B-complex... I thought a good fortified cereal... nope... trigger food for me.  I'll eat 2 cups of cereal!  One thing that ****** me off about this surgery (RNY) is that I am always so damned hungry.  It doesnt' matter what kinds of food I eat, how often I eat, etc.  I have done the high protein low carb thing and that didn't help the hunger.  My doctors are talking about an appetite suppressant because I am so gosh darn hungry, I can't control it.  And with the chocolate... I am fortunate that I am not hooked on chocolate, but that darn Little Debbie!  I am fine when I don't bring her home... I just eat too much food in general.

Boy... I have a lot of issues huh?:hmm:
