Any challenges coming up? I am trying to get back to my running program, but the cold temps and having the kiddos home from school have sidetracked me. I just got back from a week SCUBA diving in the bahamas and have a few pounds to prove it!! Those I'm not worried about; as soon as I get back to "normal" they will be gone.
That is the beauty, for me, of this surgery....after 9 years, I know what works/doesn't work for me, and I don't allow a temporary gain to get me totally off track.
Come on peeps....got anything to say?

I've tried Devrom. Was recommended by my weight loss surgeon, Dr. Patrick Chaisson from Tucson, AZ. Didn't help me at all. I also use the Gas-X strips at work. Help somewhat, but can be very embarrassing!

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!! I keep a stash of Gas-x strips in my desk. It really doesn't help much. I watched an episode of Dr. Oz a month or two ago, and someone complained about the same problem (but I don't think she was a bariatric patient). He said the odor was caused by processed foods, and that eliminating processed foods from your diet would eliminate the problem. I don't eat that much processed food, but I tried to cut them out completely. Helped a little, not completely. At the Del Sol group, they talked about internal deodorant (Devrom) and a charcoal panty liner to eliminate the odor. I haven't tried any of them.
Do any of you have problems with gas? Very stinky, embarrassing gas?
